I tried doing highly curated photos. With makeup and wardrobe.
But I saw more than those surface things in the photo sessions.
I saw moments of truth in humanity.
Bright times where the light shined through.
Times where wrinkles and movement meant more than name brands.
I knew people recalled their sessions as a time of confidence.
But I wanted them to do it without the expectation of perfection we had created that day.
